New Login id

What if you too use a long id say "spacefreakind-mailme @yahoo.co.in" like me, you might have got bugged by it . Every time you need to log in you need to type such a long id. Now finally i have a solution.

1. Visit google.com & sign in.(Link at top right)
2. Again in the top right you have "Manage account" Link. Click on it .
3. You will be shown all the google services you use.
4. At the bottom of the page there is "Try something new".
5. Once you click on it you will be shown all the google services.
6. Choose "Gmail" .Now google will provide you a gmail id

Although you can't choose the id it gives.But the id that it gives is based on your name .So if you want a id of your choice you will have to change your name(ha ha ha..)

What is the benefit Your login id is now ABCDEFG instead of ABCDEG @xyzmail.co.##

You will receive a message from Google saying

"Dear Google Account holder:

Thank you for upgrading to Gmail. Your Gmail address and primary login is:
xyz @gmail.com
You may continue to log in with your old email address if you prefer:
abc @yahoo.co.in
