DASHMIT Singh Chawla alias Niki, was arrested on Tuesday by the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) and cyber-cell of the city police on charges of posting a lurid profile of a girl who had spurned his advances.
A few days ago, Dashmit had posted the profile of the girl after she refused his proposal, threatened her over phone for the same. A EOW has filed a complaint under section 67 of the Information Technology Act against him at the Hinjewadi police station.
Dashmit is a management student of a city college Pune .He was actually from Raipur. Dashmit is a notorious character known for a flashy lifestyle and lavish cars.
