Recently orkut carried this logo on the occasion of Diwali. Diwali is an Indian festival. It is a festival of lights. People light Diyas(A Candle sort of thing) & burst crakers .This festival is celebrated for 3-4 days. It is the celedration of return of lord Rama(Incarnation of Indian god Vishnu ) from exile.
I think this is first logo change of orkut.
