Sign your Gmail

Like most mails Gmail allows you to add signature to your mails. A signature is basically few text or graphic thet appers above/below every mail.

In Gmail signature is diasplyed below/after message. Although you can add any amount of text but you cannot add any graphics. Gmail does not support rich text formatting, graphics, or HTML in your signature..

To set up a signature

  • Go to "Settings"
  • Go to General tab.
  • Enter your new signature text in the box at the Signature option.
  • As you type, the radio button will shift from No Signature to the text box if not then do it manually.
  • Click Save Changes.

Gmail will now insert the signature automatically when you compose a message. You can edit or remove it before clicking Send. There is no need to include delimiter in signature. Gmail inserts it automatically.
