Sorting mails into folders

What if you want mail from a id/group to be in a different folder and not in your inbox. Most gmail users dont know about this but it's possoble.

All that you need to do is create a filter and apply a label.

• Visit settings
• Click on Filters tab.
• Now fill it as per your requirements.
• Now click "next step"
• Here Check on "Skip inbox" and apply a New label to it.
