Click to call No more. The small phone that you see in the pic has been removed. This was quiet a cool feature but Google is removed it. Msn 's map still seem to carry that feature.
Why did it remove it ?? There could be several possibilities.
- The feature was not so popular. Many used Google Maps to find locations or to see pics(street view/panoramio)
- This was costing Google too much.
- There was privacy concern as anyone could put up details about anyone
The most accepted reason seem to be that it has been temp. stopped . It may be bringing it back in a new format as it has taken over GrandCentral.
