Google's isearch

The iPhone has a full Safari browser that works pretty well with the real Google search engine, but someone at Google went a step farther to give us an iPhone specific interface. This is not a official product from Google but is pretty good.

Some consider it as just a test & may not lead into a full fledged product .The official product could come soon. This is actually a AJAX Search. AJAX is an advanced version of java. This seems to be developed by google's AJAX search team.
pics from zdnet.com & googlesystem

You can search Basically Text and images. It allows you to search for Images, Blogs, News in addition to their Web search. From the pics i got it seems to be working good on iPhone. I don't think so it might work for other phones expect blackberry
If you are an iPhone user then try it out at http://www.google.com/uds/samples/iphone/isearch.html

Google phone

There are rumours that like Apple iPhone we could well have a Google phone. Yes you have heard it right A phone from Google stable. Although this is just a rumour there is no confirmation at all.

Google appears to be lining up partnerships between carriers and handset makers to build and sell free or very cheap Google-branded phones supported by advertising. Google CEO Eric Schmidt has been quoted previously as saying that cell phones and cell phone calls could both be free if the industry developed the right advertising model.

These cheap phones would most likely be manufactured by a third party based on design direction from the carrier and Google, and would serve the low end of the market where people may not have PCs for using Google.

This model is more about expanding the reach of Google's search and other features into new markets, not developing some amazing, high-end phone that will compete with the iPhone, Treo and BlackBerry.

Google Mobile Search Ads

South Korea's largest wireless carrier, SK Telecom, said it may launch search ads powered by Google this year:

"We are considering beginning Google's mobile-search ads on our wireless Internet network during the second half of this year," said Yang Yoon-seon, head of SK Telecom's search department."

SK Telecom has incorporated Google's search engine for its wireless Internet service, but has yet to offer the mobile-search ads.

Now Google has expanded this trial to include mobile ads for U.S. partners. It will be a limited beta test for AdSense for mobile. AdSense for mobile allows publishers to monetize their mobile websites through the placement of targeted text ads. Publishers can take advantage of the fast-growing mobile advertising market and benefit from our targeting technology.

Now it's success depends on how many use web on Mobile and how many will join for it??

Google Calender on Mobile

Google this week released a mobile version of its Calendar tool. Sign up is easy: Just go to calendar.google.com from your mobile phone and you'll see your agenda of upcoming events, complete with details like date, time, location, description, and guest list.

This is just another sign of Google going Mobile. It is mobilizing all of its applications, including Google Maps. I have not yet had a chance to try it on a phone. If any of you accessed Google Calendar on your cell phone yet then plz tell me?

It seems it works fine on mobile.
